Welcome

“Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.” Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2007

Welcome to All Saints Marsh C of E Academy and the Foundation Stage of your child’s education. We are part of a multi-academy trust, providing a stimulating and enriching environment with an exciting range of educational and personal development opportunities for children from the age of 4 to 11 years.

We understand that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you will have to make as a parent/carer, therefore we have set up this webpage to provide you with as much information as possible and answer any questions that you may have.

Our vision here at All Saints Marsh C of E Academy is to build lifelong foundations together, we believe, every child deserves the best possible foundation for their education. We provide an outstanding curriculum, where every child is treated as an individual as they begin their unique learning journey to achieve their fullest potential.

During their first year of school, every child will experience a rich and inspiring provision that encourages independence, curiosity and wonder. As established EYFS practitioners, we understand and embrace the importance of young children learning through play. This child-led approach allows pupils to develop as learners in a way in which they find enjoyable and is tailored to their own interests and personalities.

In Reception, your child will have their own individual learning journal, accessible through Seesaw. This in an incredibly useful platform that will provide you with photographs and observations of your child. Throughout the year, this will give you an insight into your child’s progress and is a wonderful tool to encourage discussions and conversations of their adventures, as they journey through life in their first year of school.
