PTFA Fun Run Success

Pupils from All Saints Marsh, C of E Academy, part of the Learning Academy Trust took part in a fun run this week. The ‘small school with a BIG heart’ raised a tremendous £627 for their PTFA. The money raised will provide the children with affordable residentials, whole school trips, play time equipment, arts and crafts workshops, cinema trips, Christmas experiences and much much more.

In total, 613 laps were run equating to approximately 15k or 10 miles!!

We hope to have inspired the next generation athletes of the future!

Mr O’Sullivan, Headteacher said ‘I was blown away by every single child’s commitment to the Fun Run in spite of the bad weather. Every child at ASM should be extremely proud of the determination and team spirit that they demonstrated on the day. Our Christian value for this half term is courage and every child demonstrated this in abundance on Thursday!

At the end of the session children were asking if they could run again.

Freddie said “I went super fast!”

Hunter said “I was tired but I wanted to keep going”

Total Laps ran were:

Templar – 170 laps

Court – 232 laps

Forde 211 laps
